<p>The England international defender lined up for Manchester City as their captain in a meeting with old adversaries United at the Etihad Stadium. At one point during the first half, Walker tangled with Red Devils striker Rasmus Hojlund.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Walker clipped the Danish forward as he ran past, sending the 21-year-old tumbling to the turf. Hojlund bounced up and made a beeline for the Blues skipper – with the pair squaring up to one another. <p>Replays showed that there had been little contact from Hojlund, as he pushed his head forward rather than aiming a butt in Walker’s direction, and <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/roy-keane-backs-ruben-amorim-drop-marcus-rashford-alejandro-garnacho-man-utd-squad-derby-man-city/blt04ea23a2dc3f166a" target="_blank">Keane told <em>Sky Sports</em></a> when watching the incident back and being asked if a red card could have been shown: “Yeah, to Walker. This is going to happen in the game, a bit of argy-bargy. Of course it’s a foul, it’s a free-kick. Hojlund goes over, but Walker, he should be embarrassed. I don’t know the guy and I’m embarrassed by that.”</p><p>Ex-City defender Micah Richards sought to defend Walker by saying the 34-year-old is “better than that”, but Keane quipped back with “Is he? I’m not so sure.”</p>
