<p>Despite being a three-time Player of the Year at SToK Racecourse, with over 100 goals for the Red Dragons to his name, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/paul-mullin-teams-move-on-transfer-advice-110-goal-striker-pecking-order-wrexham/blt028e9de11cb41723" target="_blank">Mullin has found himself slipping down the attacking pecking order</a> in 2024-25. That is due in part to the actions of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.</p>

<p>Hollywood co-owners in North Wales have continued to splash the cash, with Wrexham’s transfer record smashed when <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/ryan-reynolds-rob-mcelhenny-wrexham-warned-2m-mistake-hollywood-co-owners-breaking-transfer-record-wrong-striker/blt5371668bd1058183" target="_self">acquiring Sam Smith for £2 million in January</a>. One-cap England international <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/club-deserves-wrexham-desperate-make-history-ryan-reynolds-rob-mcelhenney-england-international-hollywood-project-north-wales/blt16edb082dfd5f381" target="_blank">Jay Rodriguez, who has Premier League experience to his name, was also snapped up</a> in the winter window.</p>

Wrexham legend Wayne Phillips has told <a href="https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cqj44dxkz4qo " target="_blank"><em>BBC Sport</em></a>: “He's right up there with the best I played with and the best I've watched in my 30 years with the club. But his season never really got going - and then, ultimately, players were brought in who have done better.”</p>

Phil Parkinson is an experienced manager with the promotions to back it up; he's been ruthless with players in the past and he will do it again.”</p>
