<p>Phil Parkinson's side are hoping to sign Bolton Wanderers midfielder George Thomason but will have to pay a "significant fee" to bring him to the Welsh club this summer, according to <a href="https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/ce8zr27vjgpo" target="_blank">BBC Sport</a>. Thomason still has two years remaining on his contract at Bolton but is being tipped to move on and strengthen Wrexham's squad as they prepare for life in the Championship.</p><p></p>

<p>Bolton manager Steven Schumacher has confirmed that a bid has been accepted for Thomason after he missed a pre-season friendly. He told the <em>Bolton News</em>: “We have accepted a bid from a club last week,&nbsp;and he's gone this weekend to do his medical there.&nbsp;I don't want to name clubs and all that because it's not confirmed yet. But that's why George wasn't here, obviously.&nbsp;We'll probably touch on that in a bit more detail next week.”</p><p><strong></strong></p>
