Victor Osimhen stood head and shoulders above his Serie A colleagues in the top scorer stakes for the 2022-23 season, with his 26 goals firing Napoli to their long-awaited Scudetto. This season, however, the crown went to a different player.
The Nigerian hitman was amongst the contenders and rightfully so; he was outstanding in front of goal last season and carried over his form into the 2023-24 campaign. His nearest challenger was Inter's Lautaro Martinez, who missed out with 21 strikes to his name. However, the Inter Milan forward bounced back to be the the front-runner in the 2024-25 season, with 24 goals to his name.
