<p>The former Tottenham man made his first appearance for more than two years after coming off the bench in Como's Serie A clash at Milan on Saturday. But the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/dele-alli-como-sent-off-debut-foul-ruben-loftus-cheek-ac-milan-nightmare-return-two-year-absence-cesc-fabregas-red/blt358bbef8e630e8b1" target="_blank">midfielder was given his marching orders</a> soon after coming on for a challenge on Ruben Loftus-Cheek, something manager Fabregas was very critical of.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>He said after the 2-1 loss: "Milan have world-class players, they are a good team. [Dele] is a player who scores goals, at this moment he has to improve a lot and it is a serious mistake for someone of his experience. He left the team in difficulty, that is the negative thing of the evening."</p>

WHAT CESC FABREGAS SAID

<p>The 28-year-old<a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/dele-alli-seals-surprise-como-transfer-cesc-fabregas-talks-up-ex-tottenham-star-potential-two-year-absence-competitive-action/blte542c12f94c9d8b4" target="_blank"> joined Como</a> earlier this year after <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/dele-alli-confirms-everton-exit-exciting-opportunities-ex-tottenham-star-serie-a-challenge-cesc-fabregas-como/blt171c921bc5ad2d66#cs09ca5cda3cc4c518" target="_blank">leaving Everton</a> last December. After waiting so long for his chance, the ex-Toffees man wasted his chance to shine with a mistimed challenge. He may have to wait a while for his next chance at Como.</p>
