<p>Despite reports that <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-us/lists/harry-kane-nick-woltemade-form-deadly-duo-bayern-munich-stuttgart-striker-warning-transfer-talk/blt8b1706e85045ff70" target="_blank">Bayern have agreed personal terms with Woltemade</a> over a summer transfer, Stuttgart sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth insists the 23-year-old striker remains under contract at the club until 2028 and is expected to stay.</p><p>Bayern's honorary president, Uli Hoeness, recently praised Woltemade and expressed a desire to sign him, either this summer or the next. However, Wohlgemuth refuted the suggested €100 million (£85m/$109m) valuation and said the figures circulating in the media are "far from reality," adding that Bayern’s official interest has not changed Stuttgart's stance.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Woltemade's deal with Stuttgart lasts for three more seasons, and the team plan to keep him on for the 2025–26 season. <p>"Few things are bigger than the silly season," Wohlgemuth said to <a href="https://sport.sky.de/fussball/artikel/vfb-boss-bezeichnet-wirbel-um-woltemade-als-sommerloch-thema/13395017/34130" target="_blank"><em>Sky Sport</em></a><em> </em>when addressing Bayern’s interest.</p><p>"A lot has been written and a lot has been said, but that doesn't change the facts… we made a long-term agreement with Nick almost a year and a half ago, and we assume that he will play football for us next season."</p><p>On the transfer fees reported in the media, he added: "These sums are merely rumoured by the public and basically have nothing to do with reality."</p>

WHAT WOHLEGEMUTH SAID

<p>Stuttgart will face Bayern in the DFL-Supercup on August 16, raising the question of which team Woltemade will represent. The transfer window closes on September 1, giving Bayern a limited period to make a formal offer if they wish to push forward. Stuttgart are preparing for the new Bundesliga and Europa League campaigns with Woltemade in their squad, but developments may yet occur before the deadline.</p>
