<p>During a meeting with the Fans' Advisory Board, concerns were raised about further increases in ticket prices after Ratcliffe opted to inflate costs in the middle of the 2024-25 campaign. Some seats have increased to a fixed price of £66 and concessions have been binned, leading to questions regarding another potential hike for season tickets next term.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Ratcliffe has maintained that he is keen to free up funds for first-team spending but that has meant nearly 250 members of staff across Carrington have lost their jobs, with <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-sg/lists/ineos-200-man-utd-jobs-under-threat-part-owners-brutal-cost-cutting/blt7fcd5cfcdf24908b" target="_blank">more redundancies in the works. </a>Tensions between fans and INEOS have worsened due to the cuts and the <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-14395301/Sir-Jim-Ratcliffe-Manchester-United-fans-tickets.html" target="_blank"><em>Daily Mail</em></a> reports the meeting this week has allowed INEOS chief to take the views of fans into account before making a decision on whether to approve another increase.</p>

<p>Ratcliffe has injected £241 million ($304m) into United since his investment was confirmed in December 2023, but on the pitch, the club have been going backwards.</p>
