WHAT SAKA POSTED

Saka was undecided on his international allegiance in his breakthrough season with Arsenal,<a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/saka-arsenal-star-proud-of-nigerian-heritage-undecided-about-international-future/130i80gzqrcyw1ezwctvum6ngk" target="_blank"> saying the decision would be "tough" back in July 2020.</a> But he got his first call-up under Gareth Southgate in October of that year and was handed a surprise starring role in England's Euro 2020 run. Since then the 23-year-old has made the Three Lions spot his own, racking up 11 goals in 32 senior appearances and becoming one of the first names on Southgate's teamsheet, if fit.
