'I'm a little bit tired of partying' - Liverpool star Alisson reveals Reds have been celebrating for 'four weeks in a row' after sealing Premier League title triumph early

<p>Arne Slot’s side saw their <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/liverpool-premier-league-champions-mohamed-salah-alexis-mac-allister-goals-arne-slot-tottenham-man-utd-title-record/bltb80a5007404c3fd9" target="_blank">coronation as the kings of English football confirmed on April 27</a>, following a thumping 5-1 victory over Tottenham. At that stage, they still had four top-flight fixtures left on their schedule.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Liverpool failed to win any of those, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/mohamed-salah-alan-shearer-andy-cole-premier-league-club-liverpool-crystal-palace/blt9a7579e4348994d0" target="_blank">picking up just two points from a possible 12</a>, but they have enjoyed capturing a 20th top-flight crown and revelling in public parties that were denied them when winning a first Premier League title during the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020.</p>

<p>The Reds finally <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/winners-losers-2024-25-premier-league-season/blt2a1709cc33840e04" target="_blank">got their hands on the much sought-after trophy</a> on the final day of the 2024-25 campaign, with Alisson admitting that he is feeling a little drained after a month of wild celebrations.</p><p>The Brazil international goalkeeper told <a href="https://x.com/OptusSport/status/1926760437397549324 " target="_blank"><em>Optus Sport</em></a>: "To be honest I am a little bit tired of partying! Four weeks in a row celebrating after the game against Spurs. Today everything is full, everything is complete, we will celebrate a lot."</p>

WHAT ALISSON SAID

<p>Questions were asked of whether Liverpool could compete for the biggest of honours after seeing Jurgen Klopp depart in the summer of 2024. However, Dutch tactician <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/top-10-premier-league-managers-2024-25-season/blteb471b69ad6dc77d" target="_blank">Slot has delivered a title triumph in his debut campaign</a>.</p>

We came here every matchday to win every game."</p>
