Tottenham set to beat Italian giants Juventus to Euro 2024 hero after star striker suffers shock relegation

The north London club, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/tottenham-hire-thomas-frank-spurs-confirm-appointment-danish-boss-after-reaching-agreement-brentford-following-sacking-europa-league-winner-ange-postecoglou/bltd778255272ffaee3" target="_blank">who recently appointed Thomas Frank as manager</a>, are said to be ready to bid for the Georgia international, after <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/lyon-relegation-to-ligue-2-confirmed-kicked-out-of-ligue-1-after-eur500m-debt/blta03e21e65e183938" target="_blank">Lyon dropped into Ligue 2 due to their immense debt</a>.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Mikautadze announced himself to the world at Euro 2024, when he scored in all of Georgia's group games, against Türkiye, Czechia, and Portugal. Last season, he scored 17 goals in all competitions and also provided 11 assists, and it is unlikely that he will want to play in the French second-tier; to that end, Lyon have appealed the decision to relegate them. </p>
