<p>According to a report from <a href="https://sport.sky.de/fussball/artikel/neue-tottenham-plaene-mit-bayerns-tel/13378244/35311" target="_blank"><em>Sky Sport</em></a> in Germany, Tottenham are eager to keep the forward but would prefer to extend his loan deal. However, Bayern hope to offload Tel in a permanent transfer this summer, with the hopes of recouping a reasonable transfer fee.</p>

<p>Tottenham spent €10 million (£8m/$11m) in loan fees to acquire Tel's services, with a €50m (£42m/$57m) option to sign him permanently, but that figure is too high for them. Faced with high costs, the London club are exploring alternatives, including a loan deal with a big fee and an obligation to buy at the end of next season. </p>
