<p>Real have revealed their squad list and the official numbers that they will wear at the Club World Cup, with Alexander-Arnold forced to leave his iconic Liverpool shirt number, No.66, behind. Instead, the right-back is set to wear the No.12 shirt, as every player in La Liga must have a shirt number between one and 25.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The No.12 shirt was previously made famous by Marcelo, the Brazilian left-back who won the Champions League five times with Los Blancos, and was most recently worn by Eduardo Camavinga. Alexander-Arnold wore the 66 from when he was a youth player, and never chose to update it at Anfield.
