The Brazilian defender's injury has hurt the team the most as he has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/real-madrid-eder-militao-suffers-acl-injury-second-time-just-over-a-year-surgery-confirmed/blt4553b5c2d90d9e2e" target="_blank">rupturing his ACL yet again</a>. </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Madrid have been plagued with injuries to several key players already during the 2024-25 campaign. <a href="https://www.relevo.com/futbol/liga-primera/plaga-lesiones-refuerza-desconfianza-vestuario-20241109164152-nt.html" target="_blank"><em>Relevo</em></a> reports that several players are unhappy with the training methods of fitness coach Pintus, with many reportedly believing the Italian's methods are not appropriate for footballers - some even refer to Pintus as an 'athlete trainer'.</p>

<p>The report, however, also claims that Pintus has the backing of club president Florentino Perez because, during his regime, the Spanish champions have won five Champions League titles and several other trophies. </p>
