Smith won the 2022 Player of the Year award for the USWNT, while <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/serie-a-christian-pulisic-better-ruud-gullit-why-usmnt-ac-milan-transfer-chelsea/blt6005cf121382afeb" target="_blank">Pulisic is a three-time winner himself</a>, in 2017, 2019 and 2021.
