We need to improve like a team and be more competitive."He continued in his press conference: "We are a team that when we go forward we create too many chances but don't score all of the chances we create. We didn't show the capacity, the energy, the hunger, the minimum to compete in the Premier League. That is why I am so upset and disappointed. It's more here [heart] and here [head] than in your legs." He added: "I'm sorry but I am not happy with the performance when we don't have the ball. We need to be strong also against a very physical team. We allowed them to run too much. Sorry for my speech but it's difficult to accept not to win the game because it was a must-win game. We need to accept that and recover from the situation."

WHAT POCHETTINO SAID

Pochettino's team are 11th in the Premier League table with 11 wins from 28 matches. They will hope to extend their five-game unbeaten run when they come up against Manchester United at home on April 4.
