<p>U.S. international Tim Weah has reportedly rejected a potential transfer to English Premier League side Nottingham Forest, according to<a href="https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1938351685287743619" target="_self"> Fabrizio Romano</a>. Forest and Juventus <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-us/lists/usmnt-juventus-tim-weah-transfer-premier-league-nottingham-forest/blt9403228608b6bf98" target="_blank">reportedly came to an agreement</a> earlier this week over a potential transfer for the American forward and <em>Bianconeri</em> winger Samuel Mbangula in a package deal of around €22 million ($25.7M)</p><p>Weah, competing with the Serie A side at the FIFA Club World Cup this summer, has seemingly turned down the chance to sign for the English club.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Weah was left out of Juventus' Matchday squad on Thursday at the Club World Cup as the <em>Bianconeri </em><a href="https://www.goal.com/en-us/lists/man-city-player-ratings-vs-juventus-club-world-cup-erling-haaland-jeremy-doku-rayan-ait-nouri/blt113510dbb845c2d8" target="_self">lost 5-2</a> to Manchester City in their Group Stage finale. </p><p>Weah <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-us/lists/usmnt-tim-weah-juventus-says-no-to-everton-loan-offer/bltdc5e69b69d8f0667" target="_self">reportedly rejected a loan move to Everton in January 2024.</a> He has been with Juventus since signing for the club in the summer of 2023, where he joined from Ligue 1 side Lille.</p>
