The Merseyside club took a two-goal lead with strikes from Mohamed Salah and Fabio Carvalho before Kai Havertz pegged one back for a 2-1 win. It was, however, a unique corner routine that caught the eye of Liverpool fans, who raved about it on social media.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Liverpool's players gathered towards the far corner of the area before scattering in multiple directions as Kostas Tsimikas delivered the ball in. After taking over for Jurgen Klopp at Anfield, Slot had pledged to go his own way, and in the pre-season, he has begun to make his mark. Liverpool fans were also ecstatic with how the Reds played out of the back in the build up to Salah's goal on Wednesday night. The Reds executed a brilliant team move that Salah finished off in style.

The Merseyside club will now take on bitter-rivals Manchester United on Sunday, August 4 at the Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia before they head back to Anfield for their final friendly against Sevilla on August 11.
