After a perfect league record in 2022-23 (12 wins from 12 games) secured promotion, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/team/wrexham/206vnsjv8ho5kpf88y0u2gaic" target="_blank">Wrexham</a> finished a respectable third in the Adran Premier, the highest level of women's football in Wales, in the recently concluded 2023-24 campaign. It was their first season of top-flight action since withdrawing from the league during 2015-16. Reynold's and McElhenney have <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/dream-big-rob-mcelhenney-wrexham-women-best-women-s-football-team-in-world/bltdc8db5dcb523c8f7" target="_blank">previously made clear that their stewardship of the club doesn't just extend to the men's team</a>.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

On July 19 and July 21 respectively, Wrexham will face SoCal FC and Tigres Femenil Under-19s at the 11,700-capacity UCLA Drake Stadium in Los Angeles. Five days later comes a trip up the Pacific coast to face Portland Thorns Academy at the 25,000-capacity Providence Park.
