<p>During Austin FC's away game against the Vancouver Whitecaps, Brad Stuver momentarily shifted his focus from saving goals to saving a small furry intruder. After the game was stopped due to the presence of a mouse on the field, the Austin FC goalkeeper displayed a moment of magic that stunned the fans. He carefully caught the creature and carried it off the field before letting it free on the sidelines in a video posted across social media.</p>

<p>While the mouse incident added a touch of whimsy to the match, the two Western Conference heavyweights battled it out in a tight and tense game. Vancouver Whitecaps, the first-placed team in the conference, took the lead early in the 13th minute through Brian White and then doubled it just before halftime. Austin FC, the fourth-placed team in the conference, tried their best to get back but struggled to level things before the break. The match ended in a 5-1 rout by the home side, thanks to an impressive four-goal showing by the USMNT's Brian White. </p>

<p>As Austin FC continue their MLS campaign, Stuver's performance in stopping shots and animal rescue will likely be remembered by fans.  The team's next match is against struggling defending champions LA Galaxy on April 19. </p>
