<p>Douglas Luiz left Aston Villa last year to sign for Italian giants Juventus but has struggled majorly in Turin, suffering a number of injuries. The Brazilian has started just three Serie A games this season and hasn't played since a substitute appearance against Cagliari in February.</p>

<p>Luiz joined the Bianconeri with Villa needing to sell one of their star players to adhere to Profit and Sustainability Rules. He became revered in the Premier League due to his tough-tackling style of play and eye for goal and Italian outlet <a href="https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Serie-A/Juventus/17-04-2025/douglas-luiz-quando-gioca-tudor-ruolo-aspettative-calciomercato.shtml" target="_blank"><em>Gazzetta dello Sport</em></a> claim he could return to England soon if his fortunes don't improve at Juve.</p>

<p>Luiz is yet to play under new Juve boss Igor Tudor, who replaced the sacked Thiago Motta in March, but the Serie A side are <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/douglas-luiz-sale-brazil-alisha-lehmann-juventus-premier-league-interest/blt8d37ad01580a4d48" target="_blank">reportedly willing to accept bids of €40m (£34m/$45m)</a> for the midfielder.
