<p>Kane <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/meant-bigger-tottenham-harry-kane-former-spurs-team-mate-reveals-bayern-munich-star-outgrow-former-club-england-striker-score-goals-blindfolded/blt0fa4e4c90d451d06" target="_blank">severed ties with Spurs in the summer of 2023</a>, with farewells bid in north London as the club’s 280-goal all-time leading scorer. He headed to Bayern Munich hoping that a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/harry-kane-backed-end-trophy-curse-bayern-munich-avoid-catastrophe-tottenham-hero-spurs-return-cant-ruled-out/blt3f872e5872ada9c5" target="_blank">career-long wait for major silverware</a> would be brought to a close in Germany.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Kane is <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/everyone-laughing-england-harry-kane-selfish-robert-lewandowski-record-bayern-munich-trophy-bid/blt802d3f428a3edcce" target="_blank">still waiting on an elusive first trophy</a>, but Dutch goalkeeper Vorm – speaking in association with <a href="https://www.888sport.com/  " target="_blank"><em>888sport</em></a> – has told <strong>GOAL</strong> when asked if multiple honours will eventually be secured at the Allianz Arena: “Yeah. I understand as a fan, if you look at someone’s career and the trophies at the end, Harry is behind. But for me as someone who loves football, I can appreciate so much what he has done – where he has come from and where he is at now. </p><p>“For me, it doesn’t make him a better football player or a better striker if he wants 10 trophies or 20 trophies. But for his own recognition, and as a team player, he deserves it so much. I really hope that he wins loads of prizes but for me even if he wins zero, he’s still one of the best that the Premier League has ever seen.”</p>

WHAT MICHEL VORM SAID

<p>Pressed on whether Kane may be <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/win-trophy-rejoin-spurs-break-alan-shearer-record-ex-tottenham-star-possible-premier-league-return-bayern-munich-striker-harry-kane/bltc72d1cc3d68a2bfd" target="_blank">tempted to retrace steps to Tottenham</a> once his trophy duck has been broken, Vorm said: “No. I think he already stayed longer than people expected. He is a winner. Now he works in an environment where there is only one way – winning trophies. This is something, I know him, and he wants the best of the best. </p><p>“As long as he is able to take care of his body, stay injury free, looking after himself, then he wants to compete until the end of his career. I don’t really see him coming back. You never know, but for him now it is about winning as many trophies as he can.”</p>

<p>With <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/harry-kane-feelings-management-career-revealed-harry-maguire-golf-bahamas-nfl-more-likely/blt1ddfb024e1373763" target="_blank">Kane’s passion continuing to burn bright</a> at 31 years of age, Vorm said on the future appeal of <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/can-harry-kane-match-lionel-messi-cristiano-ronaldo-longevity-ex-england-striker-predicts-how-long-record-breaking-forward-continue-replace-him/blt8367a1e69c0882e3" target="_blank">taking inspiration from Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo</a> by moving to either MLS or the Saudi Pro League: “Saudi I don’t really see him going there, but MLS for sure. In the off-season I have seen him doing interviews in the States and travelling there. He’s the type of guy who loves a challenge. To be honest, I see them more towards an MLS-type league than the Saudi league.”</p>

He’s very confident and he knows what he wants.
