<p>After spending last season on loan at Galatasaray, Osimhen has reportedly given the green light to <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/victor-osimhen-playing-galatasaray-meet-napoli-bank-guarantee-demands-eur75m-transfer/bltb3a600de2b017845" target="_blank">make a permanent move</a> there. Despite meeting the Napoli man's €75 million (£63m/$82m)&nbsp;release clause, the Italian side <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/twist-victor-osimhen-transfer-saga-galatasaray-reject-new-conditions-from-napoli-premier-league-clubs-red-alert/blt9dc79a2c8613925f#cs47d3fa5c467f3d71" target="_blank">appear to be holding up the deal</a>. </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p><a href="https://as.com/futbol/guerra-fria-entre-el-galatasaray-y-el-napoles-por-osimhen-n/?ssm=TW_CC" target="_self"><em>AS</em></a><em> </em>claims that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis continues to hinder Galatasaray's progress by making demands that are not in Osimhen's contract. The report adds that on top of specific pay instalments, he is demanding a '20 per cent stake in Osimhen's subsequent signing and a guarantee that the player would not be sold to Italian clubs for three years'. The publication adds that this is part of a 'cold war' between the two teams. Incidentally, the Turkish side may take this to FIFA if they don't get their way.</p>

THE EXPLANATION

<p>Osimhen, who is reportedly not giving up on returning to Galatasaray, will earn a net salary of €15m (£13m) a year in addition to another €10m (£8.6m) from sponsorship income. The offer is a three-year deal with the option of a fourth for the 26-year-old.</p>
