Earlier this month, reports emerged that the Norwegian was wanted back at former club Molde, however, the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/ex-man-utd-boss-ole-gunnar-solskjaer-rejects-return-management-blanking-text-club-chairman/blta3a218a4790cc5ec#cs5dc243f052cc0e7e" target="_blank">51-year-old rejected the opportunity</a>. WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Wolves have <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/mario-lemina-stripped-wolves-captaincy-on-pitch-west-ham-meltdown-gary-o-neil-conversation/blt03301d45265deb5d#cs2e4515f3c852bd13" target="_blank">endured a tough start to the 2024/25 campaign</a> having won just two matches out of their first 15 outings in the Premier League and find themselves 19th in the league with just nine points. The poor start has put manager Gary O'Neil's position under a ton of scrutiny, although, the club have clarified that they are prepared to grant him some more time before deciding on his future. However, Solskjaer's sudden appearance at Molineux is likely to fuel rumours about a potential move.</p>

<p>According to reporter Andy Mitten, Solskjaer's visit to Molineux was part of a "long-planned trip" to England. The ex-Red Devil wanted to catch up with friends at Ipswich, while his son is a big fan of the Tractor Boys.</p>
