WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Davies’ ability to lead the Blues back to the Championship in such emphatic style has set him apart. With silverware already secured and multiple records shattered along the way, many believe it would take something extraordinary to deny him the season’s top managerial prize. Joining Davies and Parkinson on the shortlist are Nathan Jones of Charlton Athletic and Richie Wellens of Leyton Orient, both of whom have also overseen impressive campaigns with their respective clubs.</p>

<p>None of Wrexham's players were nominated for the League One Player of the Season award. Birmingham’s Tomoki Iwata, who joined the club from Celtic last summer, has been one of the standout performers this season and finds himself among the top three contenders for the award. The versatile midfielder has netted seven goals and contributed two assists in 40 league appearances, becoming a key figure in Davies’ title-winning side. Joining Iwata in the race for the League One Player of the Season accolade are Wycombe Wanderers striker Richard Kone and Barnsley’s midfielder Davis Keillor-Dunn. Kone, the league’s joint top scorer, has played a crucial role in Wycombe’s attacking efforts and has been consistently prolific throughout the season. Meanwhile, Keillor-Dunn’s 15 goals from midfield have made him a standout performer for Barnsley and a key reason behind the Tykes’ promotion hopes.</p><p></p><p></p>
