<p>In the presence of their Hollywood owners, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, at STok Cae Ras, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/wrexham-ryan-reynolds-rob-mcelhenney-red-dragons-league-one-promotion-hollywood-owners-one-step-premier-league/blt9ad5a36a4ee7a9ef" target="_blank">Wrexham created history last weekend as they became the first club in English football to achieve three back-to-back promotions</a>. As the Red Dragons will now prepare to participate in a much more competitive English second tier, Deadpool star Reynolds thanked the Welsh club and his supporters as he also shared a hilarious clip of Ed Sheeran sending a message to him on his club's promotion. </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The video that Reynolds shared started with Sheeran at a concert telling the American actor, "Ryan, I think Wrexham are going to get promoted and we are going to see each other next year. We'll f*ck you up. We will, I am telling you. </p><p>In the caption, the Wrexham co-owner wrote: "This club is the sum of its supporters. Before we showed up they’d saved it multiple times. It’s a temple as much as a football pitch. @Wrexham_AFC has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. It’s hard to avoid immediately starting work on next season - but important to take the moment in… Looking back and looking forward feels really good right now. I think I speak for @RMcElhenney when I say, thank you for the greatest four years and here’s to many more."</p>
