WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Playing time is thought to be a major consideration for Cairney as he mulls over his future. The 34-year-old only made three Premier League starts last season for Fulham and game time is expected to be limited again if he does continue. However, a move to Wrexham would likely see Cairney go straight into the first team and potentially become a key figure for Phil Parkinson's side.</p>

<p>Cairney spoke about his future at the very end of last season. He told the club's media: "We’ll see what happens. We are still in talks, so it’s a weird feeling right now. I don’t know which way to go about it, obviously I want to thank a few people, but at the same time, we’re still in talks.”</p>
