<p>Barnett has been a standout for Wrexham this season and continued his impressive form by <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/relief-wrexham-ryan-barnett-scorcher-mansfield-league-one-frustrated/bltca42ff420709f0f0" target="_blank">scoring the winners in the Red Dragons' 1-0 win over Mansfield Town</a> on Saturday. His performances haven't gone unnoticed though, with Championship clubs <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/ryan-reynolds-rob-mcelhenney-different-transfer-problem-championship-interest-wrexham-star/blt76e193c13c58b694" target="_blank">Stoke City and Preston</a> and Scottish Premiership outfit <a href="https://www.rangersnews.uk/transfer-news/rangers-might-need-to-cough-up-for-james-tavernier-replacement-likened-to-brazilian-legend/" target="_blank">Rangers reportedly eyeing a move</a> for the wing-back.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Wrexham co-owner Rob McElhenney has already <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/rob-mcelhenney-six-word-reaction-links-wrexham-ryan-barnett-championship-stoke-city-preston/blte4991c004522c25f" target="_blank">issued a hands-off warning</a>, and Barnett doesn't seem interested in leaving the SToK Racecourse anytime soon after helping Wrexham reach the third tier of English football after arriving from Solihull Moors last year.</p>

<p>"I'm loving it. The manager gives me that freedom when I go forward and gives me that confidence to take people on," Barnett said. "All the lads have got that belief in me as well.</p><p>"I think that's all you can ask for in football, you want to be confident and you want to be happy and I am in a really good spot at the moment."</p>
