EXTRA TIME
Cristiano Ronaldo has racked up over 1,800 posts on Instagram and more than 102 million followers - more than any other athlete on the planet.
While the Real Madrid star shares plenty of snippets of his day-to-day life with his fans, however, he has remained notoriously private about his romantic interests.
Ronaldo in, Sanches out for Portugal
Ronaldo has made a point of never featuring his current girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, on his Instagram account despite the fact that she has made public appearances with him at events such as the FIFA Awards and the ceremony to rename the airport in Madeira in his honour.
CR7 followers would have been pretty surprised, then, to be greeted by a snap of the couple cozying up at home on the sofa on Thursday.

Ronaldo posted the picture with a single heart emoji as a caption.
Rodriguez seems to be the first major love interest of Ronaldo's since his break up after five years with Russian model Irina Shayk in January 2015.
A budding model herself, Rodriguez is said to have met Ronaldo at a Dolce & Gabbana event in Madrid. Ronaldo was memorably photographed disguised in a wig during one of their first public appearances at Disneyland before they started to accompany each other more regularly.
They now appear ready to lift their social-media ban, as Georgina posted a picture of the two of them at a J Balvin concert - the first of Ronaldo that had appeared on her account - just a couple of days before Cristiano followed suit.
It may be no coincidence that Rodriguez is becoming more visible in Ronaldo's life just as reports emerge that she has landed a major modelling contract in Spain with Uno Models.
Vinicius Jr: I'm going to play with Ronaldo!
Whatever the reasoning for the suddenly more public nature of their relationship, though, it seems we will be seeing more of Ronaldo and Rodriguez together in the future.
Rodriguez has been a regular in the Santiago Bernabeu boxes to watch Ronaldo in action with Madrid this season, often accompanying the Portugal star's mother and son to matches.
And she is sure to be in attendance when Zinedine Zidane's men take on Juventus at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff in their return to the Champions League final in June.
