Now that the double game week 36 appetiser is out of the way, we can dive into the main course. 10 teams will play two matches this week and many people will be loading up on the superstars from those teams.
With just two rounds remaining getting the right differential options into your team is crucial if you want to improve in rank before the end of the season. Below is an XI wholly comprised of players owned in less than 10 per cent of teams.
GK: Petr Cech - Arsenal, Price: 7.0, Ownership: 7.7%
DF: Rob Holding - Arsenal, Price: 4.0, Ownership: 0.24%
Arsenal have had a profoundly mediocre defence for most of the season, but the en vogue shift to a back three has seen them keep three clean sheets in the last five matches. Neither of Holding’s opponents in week 37 rank in the top 10 in attack so he has a solid chance at a consecutive clean sheet. That, plus his incredibly low price and ownership, make him a must own this week.
GettyDF: Nicolas Otamendi - Manchester City, Price: 6.0, Ownership: 5.99%
DF: Phil Jones - Manchester United, Price: 4.9, Ownership: 0.48%
DF: Jan Vertonghen - Tottenham, Price: 7.1, Ownership: 6.54%
He is pretty expensive, but that's to be expected when buying the most consistent starter in the league’s best defence. The upside of Vertonghen’s high price is that it has kept his ownership nice and low. Tottenham have kept four clean sheets in the last five matches and he should keep at least one over this double game week.
GoalMF: Son Heung-Min - Tottenham, Price: 7.3, Ownership: 7.1%
MF: Cesc Fabregas - Chelsea, Price: 7.2, Ownership: 2.48%
The Spaniard has been on a terrific run of late having assisted four goals in just the last three matches. The only concern from a fantasy perspective is that he could be a substitute, but even then he is effective with a goal and four assists from the bench this season.
MF: David Silva - Manchester City, Price: 7.4, Ownership: 3.07%
MF: Leroy Sane - Manchester City, Price: 6.6, Ownership: 5.32%
GettyFW: Pedro - Chelsea, Price: 7.4, Ownership: 2.59%
FW: Gabriel Jesus - Manchester City, Price: 5.4, Ownership: 6.84%
He instantly becomes the best discount player in fantasy any time Sergio Aguero is out of commission. In just five Premier League starts, Jesus has an incredible four goals and two assists. West Brom are the more formidable of the two defences the Brazilian will face this week, and they haven't kept a clean sheet in five matches.
