Kane brushed past Lionel Messi to confirm his status as the most prolific striker over the last 12 months with a hat-trick against Southampton on Boxing Day, taking him to 56 goals with club and country.
Aguero, meanwhile, hit a double at the weekend to take down Bournemouth and engross his own tally to 12 so far this season in the league.
His great friend Messi also had a week to remember, silencing the Bernabeu with a virtuoso performance as Barcelona smashed Real Madrid 3-0 in Saturday's Clasico.
