Borussia Dortmund attacker Marco Reus has been named as the first ever EA Sports Bundesliga Player of the Month.
The Germany international played four league games in September, scoring three goals and assisting three more as Dortmund took 10 points to begin their early title challenge.
Reus was crowned player of the month following a fan vote, which saw six stars battle it out to receive an upgraded card in FIFA 19.
New Borussia Monchengladbach striker Alassane Plea, Hertha Berlin's Ondrej Duda, forwards Max Kruse and Timo Werner, as well as Gladbach winger Thorgan Hazard were all nominated for the inaugural award.
A new player will be chosen each month for the rest of the season, with their upgraded version available through Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) in FIFA 19.

Reus's basic card in FIFA 19 is a left midfielder, but the new version is a central attacking midfielder, which can then be converted into any central position including striker or centre forward. It has been boosted from 85 to 88 overall, with +3 increases in pace and dribbling, +4 on shooting and passing, and +6 on defending and physical attributes.
The SBCs for Reus require four squads to be submitted, including an 86+ rated one, a Bundesliga one and a team requiring at least one Dortmund player. In total, three Team of the Week players must be used to complete the challenge.
Overall, the challenges are estimated to cost around 450k in-game coins on Playstation and Xbox, and over 500k on PC. If this is too pricy, there is also a much simpler challenge to get a loan version of the Reus card, which can be used for 20 matches before expiring.
