- Stanway broke out unique celebration in training
- England preparing for Nations League
- Set to take on Belgium in doubleheader
WHAT HAPPENED? The Lionesses are going full throttle in training in a bid to bounce back from their recent defeat against the Netherlands in their two upcoming Nations League fixtures. They were playing quick one-touch football in their latest training session, and during a final drill, Stanway set up Toone to score the winning goal, which led to joyous celebrations.
Stanway also hit a hilarious muscle flexing celebration, which closely resembled the ones made famous by Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and Italy international Mario Balotelli, and Toone was also spotted mimicking her teammate.
THE BIGGER PICTURE: Sarina Wiegman's troops started their Nations League campaign with a 2-1 victory over Scotland. However, a last-gasp goal from Ranate Jansen saw them succumb to a 2-1 loss to the Netherlands on matchday two. During the October international break, they are set to take on Belgium twice in quick succession home and away.
