Go on Son! Tottenham star breaks new ground in Premier League

Tottenham star Son Heung-Min has broken new ground in the Premier League after becoming the first South Korean player to reach 10 league goals in a single season.

The 24-year-old, who joined Spurs from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, reached the landmark with two goals in his side's clash against Watford.

The landmark goal came just before half-time against the Hornets and he added a second mid-way through the second period.

The double means that he has scored in three consecutive games, following strikes against Swansea and Burnley.

Son has now hit the back of the net 15 times in total in the Premier League since joining Spurs and Saturday's goal brings his total in all competitions this season to 18 goals in 39 appearances.

In cruising past the 10-goal milestone in a single season, Son has done what the likes of former Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-Sung could not.

Park hit 19 goals in seven seasons at Old Trafford, managing a season-best total of five on two occasions.

Swansea midfielder Ki Sung-Yeung fell short of hitting the milestone when he managed eight Premier League goals in the 2014-15 campaign.
