The Argentina international hit both goals as champions Barcelona ended the campaign with a 2-2 draw at Eibar.
Elsewhere, Valencia securred Champions League qualification in style, running out 2-0 winners at Real Valladolid.
And there was a happy ending for Espanyol, who leapfrogged Athletic to a seventh place finish as Wu Lei rounded off a 2-0 win over Real Sociedad.
