Mario Mandzukic has denied that he spoke about an alleged fight between Dani Alves and Leonardo Bonucci at half-time of the Champions League final.
All the latest transfer rumours
Reports in Italy had run a series of seemingly false quotes from the Croatia international, suggesting that the duo had a heated disagreement during the 4-1 defeat by Real Madrid back in June.
But Mandzukic has reacted angrily to those reports, clarifying that he did not give those quotes and that he would never discuss such things in public.
He wrote on his official Twitter page: "Words have been attributed to me regarding Dani and Leo. I have NEVER said such things.
"Who knows me knows that I never talk behind anyone's back. If I have to say something I always speak face-to-face and those where (sic) NOT my words. Don't worry guys, FAKE."
Bonucci snubs Allegri in Juve farewell
The Juventus defenders have since moved clubs in the summer transfer window, with Alves opting to sign for PSG despite having agreed a deal with Manchester City.
Bonucci, meanwhile, completed his €40 million switch to Juve's Serie A rivals AC Milan on Friday after seven years in Turin.
