John McGinn is set to don the captain's armband in the absence of injured skipper Andy Robertson, with injury precluding the Liverpool full-back from featuring in this window.
Everton defender Nathan Patterson misses out after being taken off on a stretcher against Ukraine, while Celtic midfielder David Turnbull withdrew from the squad with an ankle injury.
