Barcelona remain seven points clear at the summit of LaLiga thanks to a 3-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano this past weekend.
After going behind inside 25 minutes, the LaLiga leaders fought back before rounding off their win with a brilliant passing move that left Luis Suarez a tap-in.
The Uruguay international rolled the ball into an empty net after a sweeping piece of combination-play with Ivan Rakitic and Ousmane Dembele.
Elsewhere, Wissam Ben Yedder was once again the star of the show for Sevilla, hitting an impressive hat-trick in a 5-2 win over Real Sociedad.
That took the France international’s tally to 15 goals in LaLiga this season and kept sixth-placed Sevilla in the hunt for the final UEFA Champions League spot.
Meanwhile, Valencia found a hero of their own as goalkeeper Neto made a fine double-save late on to ensure Valencia got the best of a five-goal thriller at Girona.
