- Wrexham are top of Northern Group B
- Dominant 3-0 victory
- Two wins in two matches
TELL ME MORE: The Red Dragons came out soaring, firing their first into the back of the net just five minutes into the match through Jordan Tunnicliffe. Just eight minutes later, they doubled their lead through Jordan Davies.
Luke Young added a third from the penalty spot with a little over 15 minutes to spare after Crewe defender Luke Offord brought Jake Bickerstaff down in the box, earning a straight red card for the offense.
THE MVP: Wrexham attacker Bickerstaff delivered an assist in the first-half and followed it up by earning a penalty kick to seal all three points and send the Red Dragons top of Northern Group B.
THE BIG LOSER: Crewe's Luke Offord, who was sent off for the red card offense, ultimately leaving no chance for a late comeback. The Railwaymen are winless in both of their EFL Trophy matches and seemingly have no way out of the group now.
